Today we worked together to create a beautiful piece of writing. If you want to see this work of art, please visit our 'What is an ROV' page! We are excited to get interviewed on all that we've learned!

After a quick interview with Mrs. S and some very exciting safety videos, we were ready to start building. Olivia and I are working on the motors and we had to cover them in electrical tape. It was a very sticky situation.

Olivia and I finished covering our motors with electrical tape and started working on our wires. We gave Alex the film canisters to drill little holes in both the top and the bottom of each canister. We then prepared the wires and threaded them through the canisters. We got a lot of work done this period.

I finished covering all three motors in wax so they would not get wet. Olivia cleaned the yucky wax off of the canisters. And guess what?!?! All three of the motors worked! It was very exciting! Also, Tessa pulled through with the control box so it's coming along really well. Our group is working really well together and we are getting very competitive so hopefully our ROV works!

YAY!! I'm back!! I missed some of the building of Marsha but I am back and ready to work harder than ever to win, with Marsha and my team by my side. Today we were in the pool all day. We can successfully use our camera and get little Marsha to pick up the cute octopuses. Although the water freezing, we still kept a sunny, positive, attitude. Marsha was a trooper, and kept up the good work all period. She is our collective child!
